Server (Days and Evenings)

Day Servers:

• Check your floor for stock
• Make coffee (regular and decaf)
• Restock both refrigerators with creamers, butter, juices, ice cream, milk, sugar, jelly, etc.
• Refill front counter
• Do books and temperature logs
• Set up table with juice, water glasses, and coffee cups
• Take two pots of decaf coffee to dining room
• After serving meal, ensure that you go around refilling drinks and asking if anything else is
needed.
• After meal time is over, bring all dishes to kitchen, clear and wipe all tables and sweep floors.
Dining room needs to look “tour ready” at all time.
• Help put away all dishes if needed
• Roll silverware after breakfast and lunch
• Have adequate desserts plated and Ice cream
• All fridges wiped and stocked
• Clean serving carts after breakfast and lunch

Evening Servers:

• Check all coffee pots, remake or refill if needed.
• Set up tables with juice, water glasses, and coffee cups.
• After serving meal, ensure that you go around refilling drinks and asking if anything else is
needed.
• After meal time is over, bring all dishes to kitchen, clear and wipe all tables and sweep and mop
floors. Dining room needs to look “tour ready” at all time
• Sweep and mop waitress aisle
• Clean both coffee pots and turn off. Remove urns and wipe hot plates underneath
• Wipe down juice machine and send tray through dish machine
• Wipe down all counters and shelves
• Clean back area by walk in cooler
• Empty all garbage containers in kitchen and replace bags. Rinse cans if needed
• Have adequate dessert plated and Ice cream
• Clean all serving carts
No server can leave before all duties are completed. Memory care servers and Assisted Living servers
need to work as a team in order to complete all tasks
