Individualized Memory Care

Every person’s journey through dementia is different. Some people can take care of most of their activities of daily living but just need staff around to help them here and there. Some people are in the advanced stages of Alzheimer’s and need full-time care. Our memory care staff is equipped to assist our residents during every stage of dementia.

We strive to keep our residents active, as regular activity and planned activities help slow the progression of Alzheimer’s and other memory-related disorders. We also allow our memory care residents to interact with other residents to allow for a full and rewarding life.

Memory Care and the Neighborhood Concept

We are the first to set up a neighborhood concept within our memory care assisted living in Sterling Heights, MI, allowing a natural separation between those residents with low to moderate memory loss and those with more severe to end-stage dementia. This allows each resident the dignity and respect they deserve and allows the staff to provide the care, activities and social life appropriate for each person.
